WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?

Seeking a Couple who has a proven track record of professionally working together and experience in lodge/restaurant management and operation. Duties include:

Prepare and serve high quality meals, clean and maintain lodge and cabins, operate and maintain vehicles and snow removal equipment, operate and manage POS and reservations for lodge and activities.

The Lodge is located in a beautiful, but very remote mountainous area in Eastern Oregon.  The property is open all year round for guests and winter access is by track vehicle only.  Property includes main lodge with licensed restaurant, two lodge rooms, five guest cabins, crew/owner's cabins, and pack facilities.  The property appeals to guests who enjoy the outdoor wilderness experiences in a western mountainous area.

Necessary skills in include: All aspects of Hospitality, office management, guest relations, advertising/social media promotion, housekeeping, strong cooking skills and kitchen management. Facility Maintenance-basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, familiarity with generatiors/battery/inverter systems, snow equipment maintenance/operation, and light construction/carpentry.

This is a hands-on management position, and duties/responsibilities vary with the seasonal aspects of the property. Lodge couple will be working with onsite Outfitter couple who manage the pack station and assist with guest services, maintenance and snow removal during winter months.  Property leadership will be provided by the Operations Director & Pack Station Manager who have been on site for the past three years.

Willing to look at individuals with skill and experience listed above, focusing on chef or high-end cooking experience.

Couple will live on site.  Salary plus room and board included.

We are seeking a DYNAMIC TEAM to live and work on-site. This is a 40/20 position for a TEAM OF 2.

 

Team must:

• Have EXCELLENT leasing, collections, computer, banking, and marketing experience.

Looking for a mature, reliable, personable, and trustworthy couple to be a management/maintenance team to manage a 22 unit fully renovated motel.This is a great opportunity with very few out-of-pocket expenses. We also provide a bonus based on performance and growth. Live and work in a motel in the beautiful Northwest tourist town of Hood River, Oregon.

We are looking for TWO persons to work TOGETHER as a TEAM. This is NOT a one-person job. Please do not inquire unless you have a partner to help in all aspects of the job.

Requirements:

  • Full-time, year-round, live-in position(s).  This job requires a self-motivated couple with energy, ability to multi-task and willingness/personality to interact with guests and staff.  Ideally, one person should have good maintenance skills while the other should have housekeeping and/or front desk experience.
  • Non-smokers and no pets.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for at least one person of the couple.
  • Experience in the Lodging Industry is preferred but not required.
  • Both parties must pass background check and drug test.
  • Please note: We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug use and will be performing a urinalysis prior to hire, including possible random drug screens during employment.

          Maintenance duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain interior and exterior of property. 
  • Clean and shampoo stairs, hallways, common areas, etc. as needed.
  • Manage hiring appropriate professionals when needed (plumbers, electricians, etc.).
  • Keep grounds maintained, grass watered and mowed, bushes trimmed.
  • Clean gutters, including some snow removal in winter if needed.
  • Perform repairs, paint and help with upgrades to the property.
  • Regular rooms and lobby maintenance.

           Front office duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all elements of the front desk – answering phones, taking reservations, checking guests in and out and assisting guests.
  • Manage OTA (Booking.com and Expedia.com) reservations.
  • Hiring, managing and possibly training staff.
  • Follow all state and federal employment laws.
  • Inspecting and maintaining rooms and ensuring that quality standards remain intact.
  • Manage staffing schedule
  • Manage Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Booking, Expedia, Google reviews on a daily basis.
  • Manage all direct billing invoicing and receivables.
  • Manage monthly OTA reconciliations (Booking.com & Expedia.com and Motel website).
  • Maintain daily deposits.
  • Manage motel on budget.
  • Provide daily reporting to owners.

          Hours:

  • At least one member of the team MUST be onsite 24 hours per day, 5 or 6 days a week.
  • Must be willing to work weekends.
  • The motel lobby hours are 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.

                 Note: There is a night bell and check-in window available for added safety and after-hour guests.

The Cabins at Historic Columbine was originally established as a gold mining town in the late 1800’s. We are a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places. We operate as a resort with 14 historic cabins and an authentic general store.

We are in search of a couple, or two very compatible individuals to share housekeeping, general store, food trailer, reservation office and maintenance duties for 25 to 35 hours per week starting in mid-May for year round employment or seasonal summer positions are available as well. Compensation includes will start at $15.00 per hour and a full hook up rv spot is included. 

Our general store is open daily with traffic from our guests as well as tourists visiting the local state parks or hiking the numerous trails in the area. Our cabins are all unique and range from a single room with no bathroom to 3 bedrooms with multiple bathrooms. We have a modern lodge with restrooms, showers, and a gaming area that includes pool, ping pong, and foosball. The property also includes a commercial kitchen that is available to rent for events and gatherings. We cut and split all of our firewood from the property and surrounding area. Beyond housekeeping and maintenance, our summer project goals include, but are not limited to: staining cabins; remodeling cabins, building an interpretive historic hiking trail; updating and expanding landscaping and vegetation around the property; and forest cleanup including felling trees and splitting wood.

The ideal candidates should enjoy living remotely in the mountainous outdoors. Housekeeping of our cabins is a significant portion of the duties and our cleaning standards are high.  Attention to detail is key.  Excellent guest/people skills are required, along with the ability to work with a small number of seasonal and resident staff.  We are located at an elevation of 8,700 feet and duties are physically demanding.

The Cabins are located 29 miles northwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We request that you have your own reliable transportation. It is a 45-minute drive to the closest major grocery store.

For off-roading enthusiasts, we have direct access from our property to hundreds of miles of 4x4 trails in the Routt National Forest.

Live-in Maintenance Tech/Interior Couple, Private Island in the Exuma Family Islands, Bahamas.

This position is full time, on island 41 weeks per year with 11 weeks paid vacation.

The ideal candidates are flexible, innovative, dependable, in good physical health, and experienced working for a discerning family. They must be team players, self-directed, hardworking, efficient, and keenly aware of owner expectations and directions. They must have excellent communication skills, be computer literate, possess a positive attitude and have the ability to multitask. Confidentiality is key to this position as well as exceptional attention to detail.

For the Maintenance position, a strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of diesel generators, reverse osmosis saltwater desalination, electric golf carts, boats & watercraft, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and basic pool/spa care are the key ingredients to success for this position.  For the Interiors position, knowledge in housekeeping practices, laundry/ironing, product inventory and UHNW guest services are needed, limited guest interraction. You will help oversee housekeeping staff, making sure that current standards are kept to the owner's expectations. Training will be provided by the Island's Managing Couple, with whom you will work with and report to on a permanent basis.

A small, 1 bedroom furnished apartment is provided including utilities and a competitive salary/benefit package. 

Transportation is provided to and from the island.

Both individuals must be prepared to live and work on a private island that offers stunning views, private beaches and a remote location. English fluency is required for this position and a thorough background and reference check will be conducted.
