Part Time Resident Manager(s) (On-Site Position) - Sherman Oaks, CA

Requirements

We are looking for resident managers that are personable but present a professional image. This position is for couples or an individual.

Our resident managers are required, but not limited to:
• Show available units
• Conduct open houses
• General cleaning of common areas and laundry rooms
• Attend to resident requests
• Rent collection
• Serve notices and renewals
• Prepare and execute leases

We are seeking a manager with the following qualifications:
• GOOD CREDIT (background check, and drug test are required)
• Honest and energetic
• Organized, self-motivated and able to multitask
• Basic Computer skills (Word, e-mail, and Craig's list postings)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good customer service experience and problem solving skills

This position requires limited driving and weekend work may be required.
Compensation: A charming apartment valued at $1125 per month, $5185 annual salary, cable, and leasing and collection bonuses.

Married couples, hired to work as Cottage Parents, are very special individuals. Cottage Parents must be committed to being a strong, positive parental role model in a professional family-style setting. Cottage Parents teach social skills, self-help skills, academic skills, and independent living skills to youth in their cottage. There are up to ten boys or girls in each cottage, ages 8 to 18. These youth typically have a background of low self esteem, academic failure, and problem behaviors.

Cottage Parents must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and a strong desire to help troubled boys and girls. Applicants will undergo a rigorous and extensive background screening process including drug testing and fingerprinting.
