WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?

The Wayside Lodge is a small, family-owned property with seven cottages and three single-room suites, located just north of Yachats, Oregon. It is a peaceful place to live and work, with direct access to the beach and close to restaurants, hiking trails, and other coastal attractions.

We are looking for a friendly and self-motivated mature couple to take on full-time, long-term daily operation duties. You'll work closely with the local owners and coordinate with part-time housekeepers. 

Ideal candidates are warm, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a problem-solving mindest are essential. Basic reservation system knowledge and comfort with data entry are preferred. Occasional grounds or landscaping work may be part of the job. 

Onsite living accommodations are provided, and a salary will be discussed at the time of interview. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic mature couple who enjoy personable work, beautiful surroundings, and making new connections.

Vermont State Parks has various locations available in our campground volunteer program. Campground volunteers work as part of a team of park staff to perform all daily operational and maintenance tasks in a Vermont State Park. Typical duties are working in the park office (general customer service, using the Aspira/Reserve America POS and reservation system), general campground maintenance, bathroom cleaning, campsite cleaning, mowing, light landscaping, being the emergency point of contact during off-hours in the onsite manager isn't available and other duties. Full and partial season assignments may be available. Campsites generally have full hookups with electric however amenities vary by park. Many locations around Vermont are available.

Requirements

  • Must have your own team of two (2) and submit separate applications
  • One member of the two-person crew must have a Class B CDL.

  • Must be able to travel for 6-8 weeks at a time, nationwide and into Canada
  • Ability and desire to obtain a Passport
