Live In Couple required to Manage modern mid size Motel / Inn. Previous experience in Hospitality Management, with a strong understanding of Hotel Operations required. Ideal candidates will be self motivated and possess an outgoing personality with strong people skills.

Duties:

Perform Front Desk duties including checking in and out guests. Answering telephone inquiries and addressing guest concerns in a professional manner. Maintaining general book keeping journals. Supervise all employees work activities, delegate authority and assign responsibility. Perform sales / marketing duties, including making marketing calls, attending community business functions, working with travel agents and direct bill accounts and organizing sales promotions. Inspects guestrooms, outside grounds and public areas for cleansiness and appearance. Maintaining the property, including completing basic repairs and maintenance.

Skills:

Minimum 1-2 years experience in Hotel / Motel management required. Strong customer service, interpersonal, supervisory and organizational skills. A proven track record in marketing the business and increasing occupancy levels. Computer knowledge (Windows, Microsoft Office, POS Systems , Electronic Lock Equipment , Reservation Systems)

 Requirement:

Able to Live on premises and provide night service if applicable. Available 24/7 and provide a flexible work schedule including weekends. Two bedroom suite is provided which includes all utilities.

Property Management / Maintenance Couple - (Eastern Ohio)

We are currently looking for a caretaking couple to live on-site and manage and maintain an apartment complex in a charming small town in eastern Ohio, an hour west of Pittsburgh.

We are offering a 2 Bedroom Townhouse plus compensation commensurate with experience.

You must have your own tools, a vehicle, current drivers' licenses and car insurance. Experience in apartment management and maintenance is preferred.
Please have the ability to lift/carry 25+ pounds. Must understand and follow both verbal and written directions. Understand Fair Housing Laws.

This is the kind of maintenance work that will need to be done:
Clean the property inside and out, turn over apartments, remove snow; do grounds maintenance, lawn mowing, landscaping, minor roof repairs and electrical issues; maintain equipment and property, including HVAC equipment; replace damaged siding; troubleshoot all maintenance issues, fix appliances, windows, leaking toilets and faucets; clear drains, change locks, replace filters, install window A/C units.

This is the kind of management work that will need to be done:
Take applications, show and lease apartments, collect deposits and rents, make deposits, give notices, maintain property records using online software, communicate with renters and owners; obtain competitive bids for major work and supervise its proper completion. Must be a good and efficient communicator with great written and verbal skills. Must have great people skills - be kind, caring, yet firm, concise and definitive in the way you communicate. Must understand and be willing to comply with Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws.

Prefer a couple with 3 years of experience running 20 - 80 unit apartment complex, but will consider other hardworking individuals and couples with the right set of skills and demonstrated abilities.
