Current Employment Opportunities Available:
1) Married Couple Manager Position - Seeking affable applicants of honorable values, character, and integrity, possessing basic or above computer skills, ability to provide basic or above maintenance and repairs of onsite utilities, as well as an ability to supervise housekeeping staff, while assisting guests in having a pleasant stay. Qualified applicant couple will receive a salary, and free room and board (utilities paid) on-site in a spacious apartment with kitchen, living room, bathroom, and separate bedroom (all furnished or unfurnished at your preference). This is a permanent position.
2) Housekeeping Married Couple Position - Seeking affable, reliable, hard working, thorough married applicants of honorable values, character, and integrity, who are seeking a summer housekeeping position. On-site housing may also be available in small cabin (utlities paid) with microwave, small oven, refrigerator, television, cable, internet. This is a summer position. We also have the possibility of an rv being on property, should you want to live in your own rv.
About the Proprietor:
The proprietor, a committed Christian man, and his associates are committed to providing a Christian presence in the town of Dubois, and are actively promoting the spread of the gospel to guests and townspeople alike through community events such as annual town-wide Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Cookie Bakes, and housing participants of Easter concerts. He has held Bible studies in the main quarters of the Inn and has recently housed participants for Christian Men's Retreats as guests of the Inn. Most recently he is working in close connection with the annual Country Gospel Music Association to bring the Western Division competition to Dubois this summer! It is estimated that 1800 people will grace our town for that week long event, where the Branding Iron Inn will be the sponsoring Inn of choice. Several additional summer Christian concerts / Christian summer entertainment events are being planned to take place specifically on the park grounds at the Branding Iron Inn.
About the Mission Field of Dubois:
Dubois is itself a mission field. It is estimated that less than 10% if the communities "winter" residents of a little less than 1000 ever attend church in any of our towns half-dozen churches, but many have been found to be open to conversations about God by genuine, authentic followers of Christ who build sincere friendships with them. One of our housekeepers came to Christ in such a circumstance with management. It is estimated that even less of the "summer" population of locals that expands to nearly 3000 ever attend church. Each night of the summer, our cabins are full of travelers, who may or may not know Christ. The town of Dubois, and the Branding Iron Inn is indeed a mission field, ripe for the gospel of Christ. The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few.
About Local Attractions:
Dubois is located nestled between two mountain ranges, the Absarokas and the Wind River Mountains, in West Central Wyoming. It is an outdoors adventurer's paradise. World class fishing is available in the Wind River that flows through town. Hiking, canoeing, camping, horseback riding, 4 wheeling, road biking, and mountain biking are all popular summer activities. Photographers and artists come here for retreat and world class scenery. There are three glacially carved lakes less than ten minutes away, and stunning panoramic vistas rivaling the Tetons and Yellowstone are right outside our doors. Day hikes to glacier lakes and majestic waterfalls abound. We are located 45 minutes from the entrance to the world famous
Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park.
