WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?

We are seeking a full-time, year-round property manager/maintenance couple to live on-site in a beautiful area adjacent to Glacier National Park.   We are looking for a couple with experience and an eye for detail who are responsible, self-motivated, and mechanically inclined to perform a wide range of tasks in a timely manner.  Qualified applicants should excel in hospitality for our owners, guests, and prospective new owners, and enjoy interaction with the owners and Board members.

 

Duties include:

  • Maintenance and care of all structures on the property, including the 10 owner cabins, a communal lodge/indoor pool building, manager’s residence, and maintenance shop.
  • Assist owners/guests from check-in to check-out, and respond to requests through their stay.
  • Check-in days for owned time-share cabins are Friday (5) and Saturday (5), and tasks include cleaning and turning over towels and bedding; extra staff can be hired during the busy summer months.
  • Be professional in all aspects of representing the resort.
  • Manage the office (attached to manager’s home), by answering phone, taking care of owner/guest inquiries, answering emails and some minor bookkeeping; produce monthly reports and participate in Board meetings.
  • Promote the resort via social media and other venues, such as Airbnb, and respond to inquiries regarding rental of days/weeks by guests and owners.
  • Perform all needed repairs for the resort, either by self or by contracting with qualified outside vendors.
  • Mowing of grounds (with ride-on mower), trimming, and upkeep of walking trails in the summer; and snow removal (with Bobcat/plow) and maintaining x-country ski trails (with snowmobile) in the winter months. 
  • Plan and work to protect and improve the resort for the next generation of owners/guests.
  • On-call 24/7 for extenuating or emergency situations.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned by Resort Board of Directors.

 

Compensation Package. 

  • Salary of $45,000 to $65,000 per year, based on prior experience, with potential for additional income from rental/sale commissions.
  • 3 bedroom, 2 bath manager’s residence with all utilities included (a tax-free value of approximately $30,000)
  • 2 weeks paid vacation
  • Use of the property amenities
