Mobile Home Park Management Couple Position Available Now - Columbus, MS

We are in immediate need of an experienced onsite property management couple in Columbus, MS.

  A working team is the ideal situation for this position, so one could operate the park office and be responsible for things such as the collection of rents, leasing to tenants, rule enforcement, deposits, and other office tasks as required by owner or offsite management team.  The other person would perform routine park maintenance whose responsibilities would include tasks such as maintenance of the mobiles and exterior of the park such as carpentry, plumbing, roofing, etc., and landscaping/keeping common areas clean.

Skills & Requirements

- Must have experience in repair and maintenance of mobile homes/and or homes,  electrical, plumbing, and A/C repair are a big plus.

- Previous experience in property management is preferred

- Basic computer and email skills                                                                                         

 - Good math skills and a basic understanding of bookkeeping is a must

- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license for local trips to store and bank

- Ability to work with difficult people and handling several tasks at once

- Ability to inspect the entire property, including grounds and units                                           

- Must be able to pass a background check                 

Professional Foster Parents - Fort Bend County, TX

The St. Jerome's URM Program at Rio Bend in Fort Bend County is seeking 3 sets of bilingual Spanish speaking married couples to live and work in a home as Foster Parents with refugee adolescents and/or young adults. 

Responsibilities include:

• act as a parent, advocate, life skills teacher and role model for the cients of URM foster care.
• provide a structured nurturing environment that promotes and fosters a sense of belonging, mastery, independence and generosity while ensuring safety at all times through close supervision and high interaction with clients.,
• implementing service plans, coordinating with various professionals on behalf of youth to ensure youth needs are met including school personnel, therapist, and psychiatrist, advocating for adolescents, and
• managing a home budget
 

Requirements:

• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English,
• high school diploma or equivalent
• a minimum of one year experience working with youth, refugee children preferred. 
• must be at least 21 years of age or older
• creating a lifestyle centered on working with adolescents in a supportive, nurturing home environment is a must.

Live In Caregiver Couple Position in Austin Texas

Small licensed personal care home in Austin Texas seeks couple EXPERIENCED in direct care to move in and take care of up to 7 seniors.

The job involves cooking, cleaning and maintaining the house, distributing meds, showers and laundry......some of our clients are semi paralyzed, so you will need to learn hoyer lift, as they are two person transfers. Compensation: dependent on census; the couple is guaranteed $2000.00 for the first four residents; for each subsequent resident, couple receives an extra $500.00. Currently 7 residents, so cash compensation is $3500.00/month. Room: there is one large room (2,000 square feet) in the back of the house with a private entrance(opens onto the fenced back yard) and a separate window unit air conditioner to supplement the central air in the house. There is a shared bathroom outside of the bedroom to be used by caregivers. All utilities, including cable, electric, gas and phone are included with room. There is also a large lockable storage bin in the back yard, (600 square feet) for use by the caregivers. The job entails keeping the residents clean, hydrated, fed and safe from harm. The couple I am looking for is mature,calm, strong and experienced in resident care. We will train you in our ways, and request that you follow our rigid framework, as we are licensed and must follow all state rules. It is necessary that both members of the team are able to render direct care. I prefer a couple so that you are not held captive 24/7 to the facility. You will need to adhere to a semi regular schedule, so the residents receive meals, meds and hygiene in a timely manner. There is a back yard and you are allowed a small pet. You must have a clean criminal record; once hired, you will work in a nearby assisted living home for 16 hours(paid) to hone your skills. Either respond by email or call. Looking for a married, nonsmoking couple to manage a seasonal campground in western NC. 

Must have been a camper or worked in a campground.  Skills necessary for position include: handyman, computer, mowing, cleaning, phone, working with public, and general campground management.  Two days off per week are given.  Compensation includes a salary, utilities, TV, internet, phone, and a 2 bedroom, 2 bath furnished home with carport which is connected to the office.  Must be able to start no later than March 1st, but can move into home as early as Nov.  The campground is open from May 1st to Oct. 3lst. We hope to find someone who can stay for several years.
