FEATURED JOB OPENING: COUPLE WANTED - LIVE-IN FOR A WEEKEND HOME IN WESTCHESTER, NY

Stable, mature couple needed for long-term live-in position. Must have excellent cooking skills, excellent organizational skills, be clean, detail oriented, with formal serving ability. Must be cheerful, eager to please. Includes daily hands-on cooking, cleaning, laundry, handyman, driving, shopping, or anything requested by the owners. (THIS IS NOT A PROPERTY MANAGEMENT JOB)

It is primarily a weekend house, but large and service demanding especially during the season. Flexibility is required - not a 9-5 job.  Two days off during a week.  There are three children here (cared for by nannies), and a cat and a dog.  Pet friendly.  

Full benefits with health insurance paid. Two weeks vacation after a year.  Separate private living quarters.

Both candidates must speak English and have valid drivers license. 

The hands on duties of the Couple may include but not be limited to:

Cook/Housekeeper:
- usual domestic duties, cleaning, laundry/ironing, shopping.
- cooking and serving meals for the family. Sometimes more if guests at house with substantial dinner or lunch parties. It is essential that one or other of the couple is a good cook!
- feeding pets (1 dog and 1 cat)
- looking after the house and contents when the family is away
-driving: errands, shopping

Handyman/other:

- essential: ability to drive car.

- formal serving required

- house cleaning, vacuuming, floors, toilets

- general maintenance around the house, care of vehicles

- light handyman “projects”

- driving with errands, airport runs, some driving between locations, possible some driving in the evenings to parties or events.

Hours
24 hour on call but generally 40-50 hours throughout the week, (2 days off per week during a week), but with regular weekend working. Some weeks, there will be little to do except for cleaning and maintenance while at other times there will be more activity with lots of guests to look after. It is very important that the couple are available over holiday periods if needed.

Compensation:
Salary negotiable based upon experience,  but in the neighborhood of $75 - $80,000 to start.

Assist youth in developing meaningful relationships with peers and adults

• Improve the parent/child relationship
• Community Outreach
• Develop positive public relations with community organizations
• Intervene with community on behalf of the youth
• Advocate for youth in a variety of community settings
• Develop vocational and academic planning with youth for the youth’s future
• Paperwork and documentation
• Maintain financial records for funds used in the home
• Maintain daily logs on each youth
• Maintain appropriate menus and USDA records

• Report all major equipment and appliance repair need directly to Financial Manager
• Report need for youth appointments directly to Insurance Manager

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferable
• At least two years experience working with adolescents in a similar setting, preferably in the Teaching Family Model
• No criminal history
• Completed and approved MMPI**
• Ability to be insured by KPCCC auto insurance company

 Supervision:  Directly supervised by Program Manager.

 Schedule:Dependent on home hired to work in.

Storage experience a plus, but not required .  Energetic 2-person management team to live on-site and manage self storage facility in Houston, Texas.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to:  leasing units, collections, sending late notices as necessary,  daily bank deposits, reports to corporate, marketing, cleaning the office, public restroom and vacant units, light maintenance; including  changing light bulbs.  The team must have good customer, marketing and computer skills.

Resident Innkeeper Couple -Northern California Coast

Full time position for live-in Motel Manager couple to run a non-franchise, husband / wife owned, 30 unit motel on the Northern California Coast, approximately 3 hours North of San Francisco. Duties would include reservations, front desk, directing housekeepers, basic maintenance of property and grounds.

Someone with at least 5 years experience in this exact type of management is preferred. Computer skills, such as check-in, email, and on-line reservations are a real plus also. Some Llght maintenance, such as plumbing, electrical, and painting is required, as needed.

The area is off the beaten path and very slow paced. Summers are busy and the rest of the year is fairly low-keyed, so there is alot of free time to get away. Salary, performance incentive, and living accommodations included as part of compensation. Manager Unit is a real nice, cozy  1 bedroom, with decks overlooking a Pacific estuary.

Campground Host Couple - Near Waterton Lakes National Park, AB

WORK CAMPER POSITION FOR RETIRED COUPLE AS CAMPGROUND HOST NEAR WATERTON NATIONAL PARK, ALBERTA, CANADA IN THE GREAT CANADIAN ROCKIES.

Crooked Creek Campground is an RV park located 5.6 km east of Waterton Lakes National Park. Waterton Lakes National Park is an International Peace Park with Glacier National Park in Montana The famous Prince of Wales Hotel overlooks Waterton Lakes. 

We are looking for a retired couple, who will commit to the duration of the season, to work 20 hours per week, in exchange for a full serviced site which includes laundry facilities, from May 1 – September 30. The type of work the couple would do is, lawn maintenance, cleaning of washrooms, when needed cover phone and office, which includes taking reservations and signing-in customers and providing them with information of things to do in the area, and other general maintenance work as needed. Because we are located near a National park, we get many international travelers, photographers, hikers, golfers and fisherman..

Our campground has 78 sites all with a majestic view of the mountains, 33 of those sites are seasonal sites occupied by people who return year after year.With our seasonal people we gather together for potluck dinners once a month and other gatherings throughout the season. We are a very friendly and sociable group of people.
