We are 45 minutes from Medford, 30 minutes from Klamath Falls and about an hour from Ashland. It's rural yet not far from the urban convenience. It has been a destination for outdoor activities like fishing, boating, birding, snow mobile for many family with over 100 years of history. This is an established business with new management, we look for individuals and working couple with great flexibility to manage business priority so we can launch the business successfully. The desired couple to have great zeal and passion for guest services, dedication to the day-to-day operation of the business, and have basic understanding on ways to improve the rating of resort and the restaurant. The resort has a restaurant, hotel room, cabin, RV park and boating facilities. Candidate must be pleasant, honest, courteous, hospitable with commitment, zeal and passion for the business. Opportunity to reside in all utilities paid facility.
Business Role:
-Couple with experience in running or managing a restaurant successfully
-Manage Resort Front Desk & provide exceptional guest service
-Provide accurate reporting of cash register and clear reporting of reservation
-Ensure smooth day-to-day resort operation
-Strong ability to work with latest technology, booking platform, and other business software
-Perform cleaning and maintenance of the resort store
-Certain level of creativity and latitude is expected
-Oversees the works of others like housekeepers, ground keepers, pest control vendors, restaurant tenancy or operation.
-Ability to build strong relationship with guests and employees and establish high standard of work quality.
-Active and able to connect with local businesses
-Perform variety of tasks, including housekeeping (housekeeper no show or during slow season) as and when required
Restaurant & Project/Maintenance Role:
I'm looking for a hands-on restaurant manager during peak season and able to do handywork project during low season
-Previously run and operate restaurant and understand the budgeting expect of the business
-Ability to craft restaurant menu and schedule employees hour effectively
-Great understanding on the working order of the front and backend of the restaurant
-know how to cook and how to operate the restaurant bar
When the restaurant is not in full operation (slow season between November to March):
-Ability to plan and conduct working project to maintain, improve and expand the property
-Maintain and upkeep the property
-Implement and oversee the security of the property
-Perform variety of tasks including frontline tasks as and when required
-Good understanding of technology
-Has the ability to operate as a cook or bar tender during slow season (short breakfast hour few days a week or short dinner hours few days a week)
Preferably a couple or someone who has previously work in restaurant and hospitality business and understand the nature of this business lifestyle. Successful candidates/couple will be provided with all utilities paid (PGE, water, wifi-limited, no cable) accommodation & $3500 pay/month. (negotiable depending on experience) We will also provide one week hotel room at the resort for family visit accomodation during low season between November - March subject to availability for eligible employees. This property is in remote location in the middle of the woods and by the lake, we look for individual who are independant with his or her own truck and enjoy nature, it's a heavenly place for nature lovers.
