We are an all age mobile home community with 44 manufactured homes and 49 camping sites including a small café/store in the Los Angeles/San Gabriel Canyon area, searching for a fulltime management/maintenance couple. We are looking for a self-motivated couple with a strong work ethic, customer oriented focus and ability to multitask. Work is year round with our busy season being in the summer for the campground and café.
Park responsibilities include: Mobile Home Rent collection, space rentals, rental contracts and financial reports to owners.
Café Store Management: Need to understand Food/Liquor/Labor costs and have an understanding of P&L's. Manage employees and scheduling.
Campground Management: Responsible for reservations over the phone, email and third party websites. Maintain a clean campground with facilities.
Maintenance responsibilities:Manager has full accountability for the overall maintenance and custodial functions. Participates in the screening and hiring of maintenance staff, trains, supervises and evaluates performance. Management should have active working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, propane gas, pool maintenance, grounds security, general repair and septic systems. Experience or ability to learn in well-water testing, food service management, tractor/backhoe handling a plus.
Applicants needs to be in good health as there are hands-on tasks involved. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Compensation: on-site housing (28 x 44 home/office), utilities paid. Salary commensurate with experience. The position is available for a COUPLE only.
