Come live and work in the beautiful Pacific Northwest just one mile from the Pacific Ocean. Currently seeking fun-loving, family orientated & dependable folks for the 2020 Spring, Summer and Fall positions.
We are a 300 site park. Rv’s back-in, pull-thru, deluxe lodging & camping cabins, including deluxe & rustic tent spots. We have a 120ft indoor activity building w/Movie Theater, jumping pillow, putt-putt golf to indoor pool/hot tub, outdoor pool, nature walk, Iredale’s Pancake House & Café and lots more!!! During the summer season our park is extremely busy with full activities and themed weekends.
Wildlife aplenty with raccoons, elk, deer, eagles and our favorite…beavers! Astoria/Warrenton/Seaside areas have plenty to offer: shopping, fishing, parks miles of beaches and fantastic museums. Directly across the street from our beautiful KOA is the Ft. Steven’s State park with miles of bike and hiking paths with the Pacific Ocean only a mile walk from our Kampstore! Out our backdoor are the Coastal Cascade Mountains only 30 minutes away! What a paradise to live & work!
Activities: Greet and serve each guest in a friendly, fast, efficient and courteous manner. Must enjoy playing with children in a fast past, fun environment. Serving snacks, making crafts, playing family games, tie-dye, running relay races and supervising equipment like bounce houses & bounce pillow. Food handling could include: ice cream socials, fire side treats, ect. Additional daily tasks could include running a register, cleaning, driving a golf cart and working with materials. Weekly duties will include obtaining/managing materials for crafts, maintaining equipment and creating props for games, organizing talent for special events, decorating for theme weeks/holidays, prepping supplies for the next week. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to stand, sit, stoop and bend for long periods. Must have or able to obtain an Oregon Food Handlers Card.
Food Services: Prepares simple food items such as pancakes & other breakfast items, lunch & dinner items, Ribs, pizza & burgers. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils and equipment according to sanitation guidelines. Monitor and maintain quality of finished food product. Maintain clean and safe work area as defined by Health Dept. standards. We need energetic and outgoing individuals who are willing to go above and beyond for our valued customers. Excellent phone and interpersonal skills are a must! Must have a valid driver’s license to assist with doing deliveries to our KOA campers. Follows proper food sanitation and handling procedures. Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of Food Sanitation Procedures. Must have or be willing to get an Oregon Food Handler’s Card.
Guest Service/Store Clerk: Guest registration, front desk and store point of sale procedures while delivering GREAT guest service. Greet and serve each guest in a fast, efficient and courteous manner. Friendly, helpful and professional guest services, while paying attention to detail when taking reservations or registering guests. Careful and accurate money handling. Must be able to hear and respond over the phone and in a busy environment. Store stocking, dusting, making coffee and store sales. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Maintenance: Provide excellent and friendly guest service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to all guest needs. Work will include but not limited to: pools/hot tub, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, and cleaning of building, garbage pickup, propane pumping, game machines and cleaning of fire pits. Comply with all federal and state safety programs. Knowledge in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring your safety as well as that of fellow staff and campground guests. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time. Basic knowledge of pool operations is helpful, as well as basic knowledge of propane dispensing. Valid driver’s license is required.
Housekeeping: Assist in overall cleanliness of campground building and facilities (i.e. showerhouses, laundry rooms, games rooms, camping & deluxe cabins) with the goal of providing GREAT guest service. Be able to work with and around chemicals. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Long periods of standing, bending, kneeling and walking. Must have a valid driver’s license. New for 2017 in-house laundry.
Rate of pay: $11.50 for all hours worked.
Full hookup back-in sites @ $40.00 per paycheck site rent for couples. $80 per paycheck for singles.

Use of facility: Swimming pool/Hot tub, game room, coin-op laundry, dog park
2019/2020 Seasons:
Spring – March 2020 through May 23, 2020 part-time hours approx 20 hr/week
Summer - May 24, 2020 through September 2, 2020 approx 40 hr/week
Fall – September 2, 2019 – November 1, 2019 approx 20 hr/week
November 2, 2019 starts the Winter season
