PERMANENT LIVE IN DOMESTIC COUPLE JOB | STRADA IN CHIANTI, TUSCANY, ITALY

We are excited to present an outstanding permanent live in domestic couple opportunity in Strada in Chianti, Tuscany. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, the Estate has undergone restoration and requires consistent and diligent care. The principals are easy-going by nature but are professionals who will require a professional approach from the hired couple. The principals comprise of two adults and a delightful, well-behaved labradoodle.

During autumn and spring, when the family resides on the estate, the working week will be slightly longer and will include 6 working days. During the rest of the year, the couple will be required to work 5 days per week which will give them ample amount of time to manage and oversee the estate.

The ideal domestic couple should demonstrate initiative and take responsibility for the care of the Estate. Duties will primarily encompass housekeeping, property maintenance, pet care, and occasional driving. Proficiency in Italian is essential, as effective communication with contractors and gardeners will be required.

We are seeking a professional domestic couple who share a genuine love for the countryside lifestyle and a genuine affection for dogs. The provided accommodation comprises a separate four-bedroom apartment.

Duties of full time live in Domestic Couple job: 

• Weekly lawn care and maintenance
• Cleaning patios and outdoor areas
• Driveway upkeep and maintenance
• Assisting with pruning and tree care
• Equipment maintenance
• General Cleaning:
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Bathroom cleaning
• Bed making
• Laundry (washing, drying, and ironing)
• Dusting and furniture care
• Cleaning the kitchen and appliances
• Glass door cleaning
• Cabinet and wooden furniture maintenance
• Basic food shopping and running errands
• Other Household Duties:
• Pet sitting and caring for the dog, Sammy
• Occasional food preparation
• Welcoming guests
• Driving if needed
• Car washing if required
• General maintenance, painting, and repairs
