Owner seeks qualified applicant to manage a Mobile Home community in the Evansville, IN area. Must reside within the community – manager’s living quarters provided, and is included in compensation.
Responsibilities for the Community Property Manager will include:
Office Management
- Rent collections, maintaining tenant files, record keeping, and handling court actions including unlawful detainers.
- Establishes residency by explaining contract provisions and rules of residency; obtaining signatures and down-payment.
- Maintains physical operations by conducting inspections of grounds, buildings, and vacant units.
- Resolves resident dissatisfactions by investigating complaints; implements appropriate solutions; enforcing residency rules.
Park Maintenance
- Inspecting grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine and complete all necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Grounds maintenance: lawn mowing & trimming of common areas.
- Keeping community clean and well maintained.
- Knowledge of water risers, heat tapes, plumbing, carpentry, general handy man skills.
Home Renovations
- Source, engage & supervise contractors to repair and maintain rental units and rehab homes
As a Community Manager/Maintenance person, you are required to have strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills to succeed in the position. In addition, Community Manager/Maintenance person must also have good oral and written communication skills.
Other requirements for the Community Property Manager include:
- May reside within the community – manager’s living quarters provided, and is included in compensation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people including sales, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with grounds maintenance.
- Clean driving record and own tools.
- Highly organized with strong work ethic.
- Good general knowledge and / or hands on experience in construction .
- Proficiency with MS Office products such as Excel and Word preferred.
