Manufacture Housing Community – Comstock Park, MI area
This position involves all aspects of office duties and park maintenance. The Park Manager should be comfortable with multi-tasking to handle the daily and monthly duties of the mobile home park. Prior experience in the mobile home industry or apartment management is preferred. This is a 81 unit park with 4 park owned rentals. This is a live-on site position suitable for a person or couple which includes a mobile home and utilities seperate from the office. A complete background check will be done. Job Overview
The Park Manager/Maintenance staff is expected to take full responsibility for all aspects of operating and maintaining the manufactured housing community and home remodeling and sales. Responsibilities include managing the operating income of the community, resident occupancy, curb appeal, community relationships, maintenance staff and maintaining positive resident and service provider relations.
The Property Manager position includes the following responsibilities:
• Leasing and marketing of mobile homes
• Completing leases and lease applications, maintaining resident records and files for leases, applications, rent deposits, security deposits, bank deposits, etc.
• Monitoring leases, maintenance orders, rent increases, late payments, collections, evictions, tenant move-ins and move-outs
• Providing excellent customer service to our residents
• Working closely with main Office Manager to ensure smooth running and operation of the park
Requirements
• Prior experience managing mobile home parks or apartments
• Excellent collection skills (collection calls, knocking on doors, letters, evictions)
• Experience working within a budget and minimizing costs
• Experienced negotiating with and managing subcontractors
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage office and maintenance staff effectively
Preferred
• Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus.
