FEATURED JOB OPENING: Relief Houseparent Position - Raleigh, NC

Do you have a heart for serving others? Christian Life Home is seeking a Married Christian Couple or Single Christian Female who will serve as Relief Houseparents in the Pregnancy and Aftercare Homes to provide a Christ-centered family atmosphere for young women, ages 18 to 25 years old, during and after pregnancy.  Housing, food, counseling, classes, life-skills training, and more are provided for the young women.  Counseling and classes are also provided for the father of the baby and members of their families.  More about the ministry can be found on our website.

This is a full time position, with applicants being 25 years or older.  Scheduled work days will be16-23 24-hour-days per month, with days on-duty fluctuating month to month.  Bedroom and private bath within the homes is provided when on-duty.  This position requires the ability to serve others in ministry through hospitality, work under supervision of a director, plus basic discipleship, communication and problem solving skills. Most importantly this position requires a desire to minister to young women, young men and their families who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy.  Salary for this position is $40-50k per year plus some compensation for off-site housing. Medical and dental insurance is included, plus food stipend and use of ministry vehicle when on-duty. Because of transitioning between two homes, this position does not allow a couple to have children with them.
