Do you have a heart for serving young pregnant women? Christian Life Home is seeking a married Christian couple who will both serve full-time as Primary Houseparents in the home.  They will live in the home to provide a Christ-centered family atmosphere for the pregnant young women ages 10 – 23 years old. They will provide supervision, teach life-skills, provide transportation to school, work, volunteering, and appointments, and role-model functioning as a family.

 

Housing is provided with a houseparent apartment, attached to the home as a mother-in-law suite, and provides the sleeping quarters and off-duty time for the couple, with two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen and small living area. Compensation package is around 75k per year, including a salary range of 40-50K per year, housing, utilities, food, and HSA health insurance plan.

 

This position requires a couple who have a desire to minister to young women, young men, and their families who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. They should also have the ability to serve others in ministry through hospitality, ability to live and work together in community, work under the supervision of the Director, plus basic discipleship, communication and problem solving skills. Training is provided to prepare the couple for working with the young women and also the father of the baby and family members who want to be involved.

 

Christian Life Home serves young women during and after unplanned pregnancies by providing housing, food, health care assistance, counseling, classes, life-skills training, and more in a Christian family environment through the  Non-Residential Program, Maternity Home, Mother & Baby Home, and Independent Living Program.  Counseling and classes are also provided for the father of the baby and members of their families.
