WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Do you want to make a difference in the life of a child?
Do you want to be a part of a continuously growing community-based organization?
Do you want to work for one of the 2021-2023 AJC Top Workplaces?
If you answered yes, and want a rewarding career, Goshen Valley Foundation is for you!
Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is currently seeking mission-minded married couples who feel called to ministering to youth in a residential setting.
Couples like Mark and Abigail:
“We ultimately felt God was calling us to ministry in some capacity. Once we learned about the opportunity and met with the staff, we knew this was the best place to use our passions and talents to invest in the foster youth at the Ranch”.
At a time when other facilities are struggling with turnover, We are blessed to have a stable team environment where our houseparents are invested in and supported. Our Houseparents receive full time room and board and off-duty housing. We have competitive salaries starting at $55,000+ per Primary Houseparent couple with fully paid health/dental/vision benefits, receive annual and long term bonuses, and time off.
While most group homes employ shift workers, our proven model focuses on creating an environment that feels as much like family as possible. As a Houseparent, you are the center of a team focused on ministering to 6-8 boys between the ages of 8-18. You help achieve the mission of “Peace and Purpose” by creating a home environment that feels like family…not an institution.
At Goshen Valley you will have a comprehensive support system surround you:
- An Academic Coordinator enrolls/withdraws children from school, advocates for special educational needs, and attends school meetings.
- A Case Manager communicates with Court/DFCS, transports children to all DFCS/court related meetings, and schedules/supervises family visits.
- A Medical Coordinator provides first aid and medical consultation, schedules medical and dental visits, transports to medical and dental appointments, and picks up prescription medication.
- An Activities Director facilitates community and on-campus activities.
- Additional support staff assist with transportation, supervision, homework, and more.
We know that for our children to succeed, we need our Houseparents and staff to succeed. We won’t promise you the easiest job in the world, but we will promise you the rewards are worth it!
We invite you to see the difference and investigate how you can join in our mission of “Peace and Purpose.”
