We are a small privately owned campground in the Georgia mountains. Located approximately 5 miles from the North Carolina border. We have 28 full hook up sites, 7 primitive tent sites and two cabins. Busier days are Friday arrivals and Sunday departures. October is our busiest month.
Seeking a couple to join us for 2027 as our second set of hosts for the season. We are open May to November. Work schedule would be approximately 30 hours every other week. (most of the time will be less) Office/Camp Store is open Wednesday to Saturday (varies on holidays). One person to run the office and one person to handle the grounds. Office: reservation arrivals, some computer reservation scheduling, payment collection as needed, phones, and cleaning of the two bathrooms attached to the office used by primitive tent campers. Grounds: site cleaning (mainly fire pits), assisting arriving guests to thier sites, firewood delivery, trash pick up and disposal at transfer station using company truck, bathhouse cleaning and upkeep.
Full hook up site provided in exchange for services rendered. Please reach out with any questions. We are in a lovely area that has an abundance of hiking trails, waterfalls, shopping, restaurants and cute surrounding towns to explore. In addition to Lake Chatuge which offers watersports activities and fishing.
