We are looking for a full-time caretaker couple near Suisun City California. The property consists of 1200 continuous acres and a large clubhouse/lodge which provides a Private Caretaker unit (700 sq foot 1 Bedroom with living room/private kitchen/remodeled bathroom and office). We have dirt/gravel road access to our property (25 minutes by car to Suisun City CA) and boat in/out access (Bay Point 10 minutes by boat). We provide company vehicles and fuel for any work related trips, such as shopping and picking up materials. This is a live-in position, and the property is remote.
This position is perfect for a couple who enjoys the outdoors, entertaining, and working inside and outside. The property is used as a Duck Hunting Club from October thru January, where members use the property 3-4 days a week. When members are present, your role expands to cook and maintain the lodge and drive the club boat (28 Foot Passenger Boat) to pickup members. General maintenance of the clubhouse, vehicles, and members cabins is required and some driving a tractor will be part of the job. Ability to shop and cook for a group is a must.
The property is a well maintained island with great fishing, hiking, bird watching, and views.
Annual Salary is +/- $60,000 + Free Housing + vehicle/fuel.
Groceries/Food provided for Caretakers October - January.
Annual performance Bonus and side-projects for member at the club are also possible.
