Estate/Farm Manager and Housekeeper needed to maintain a 30-acre farm in Fort Washington, MD, and a 10,000 square foot house across the Potomac River in Alexandria, VA.
Successful candidate will be experienced in maintaining a farm, caring for horses and livestock and home repairs/maintenance. Farm duties include mowing lawns, caring for horses, and general upkeep of property. Estate duties include general maintenance/minor landscaping. Duties also include cleaning and maintaining automobiles, boats and watercraft. Manager will fulfill these duties on the Fort Washington farm and at the Alexandria house.
Spouse will be experienced in managing a household for a family. Duties to be primarily housekeeping - cleaning, laundry and oversight of household needs. The housekeeper will fulfill these duties in the Alexandria house.
Couple will live on the farm by themselves in Fort Washington in a two-bedroom home on a 30-acre property with a breathtaking view of the Potomac River. The farm is located several miles south of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and National Harbor. Couple will both have driver’s licenses, be of high moral character, non-smoking, friendly and self-motivated. References required. Competitive salaries.
