Young of heart and mind couple needed to help host our campground/RV park. All or part of April thru October 2017.
We are located at 7000ft in the high Eastern Sierra of California; Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains on three sides with ample Exploring, Climbing, Biking, Fishing & Hiking; only a stone’s throw from Yosemite, as well as many other incredible destinations.
We're looking for camp hosting help. A friendly, happy and personable individual or couple, who would like to work 20 hrs a week. Compensation will be a full hookup RV site (incl. electric, water, sewer and WIFI). Yes, you need to own an RV! It is important to us that you are outgoing and genuinely enthusiastic about the area and our clientele.
We're a friendly couple and our camp is known for its relaxed atmosphere and guests. Not your typical RV park; we try to be more of a camping destination than a quick stop over. We have Saturday bonfires and random cookouts where guests join and get to know one another. We're looking for hosts who can help facilitate this atmosphere, who enjoy the area as much as we do, who can share that enthusiasm and who can help us to take care of the camp. We'll make sure you have plenty of time to explore this pristine wilderness but we'll also require you to work. Duties will depend on your skill set but in general: helping people in, answering questions, tending the office, site maintenance, and some landscaping.Depending on your skills, there could be some additional paid work available as well.
We will work with your schedule. Typically, we hire someone from April through October. We are looking to establish a relationship that may last for many years to come. If you have a dog or/and a kid, even better. We have a 18 month old baby boy Oliver and are dog friendly. Oliver and Clyde would be happy to have another friend to play with.
Check out our website, get a feel of our place and determine if you would be the right fit. We'll gladly provide contact info of one of our work campers/couple that was with us for several years, so you can ask them what it's like to live at Paradise Shores.
Please send your resume with photos of yourself and your rig to our email.
