Seeking an enthusiastic Couple/Team needed for day to day operations/management of a RV Resort located in central Minnesota on Cokato Lake, 3 miles north of Cokato, MN. Managers to live on site (living quarters provided) for this full time year round position. If you have always wanted to work together, this is a wonderful opportunity to work in a fun environment where guests and their families come to vacation. We are looking for someone to start immediately.
Cokato Lake RV Resort (CLRVR) is comprised of 225 sites that are a combination of privately owned and rentable sites. Resort has a store, game room, two separate facilities for restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, a chapel, entertainment barn, fish cleaning facilities, a miniature golf course, softball field, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball area, horseshoe pits, outdoor swimming pool, playground area, an animal park, dumping station, boat and trailer parking, centralized dock system and boat slips, and miscellaneous garage and tractor sheds.
We are seeking a couple/team that has people skills and knowledge / experience in the hospitality industry. Management Team will be required to work weekends, evening and extended hours during the camping season (May-September). The Management team would take direction from the CLRVR Association Board of Directors comprised of 5 site owners.
Job Duties include:
- Administration of theAssociation’s property under the direction of the Board, such as record keeping procedures as they relate to injuries and incidents, reading electric meters, basic insurance knowledge, and ability to implement weather emergency plans.
- Some responsibilities for the financial duties as they relate to the store operation, general ledger, reporting, and expense management.
- Customer service duties. Need to be professional, courteous, and have good listening skills; a knowledge of the potential liability resulting from his/her actions, maintain phone coverage and have ability to deal with complaints objectively and consistently.
- Grounds and equipment maintenance duties such as execute and schedule landscape and equipment maintenance, supervise vendors, ability to manage a small animal park and janitorial/housekeeping tasks.
- Ability to operate a commercial pool or will get required training to do so.
- Will operate store during camping season and have the ability to create an operation/inventory plan.
- Liaison with local public safety agencies, oversee injuries/incidents, and recommend/implement improvements to the security of property.
Compensation: $50,000 in wages for the entire team/yr., on-site living accommodations including utilities, and paid vacation (to be taken in the off season).
