This is a year around position for a 7 unit motel with a great reputation in the beautiful Central Michigan town of Harrison, MI. This position offers a 2 bedroom home with attached office and all utilities in exchange for caretaker duties. We also pay a percentage of the monthly motel income to the caretakers. The more rooms that are filled means more money that the caretakers will make. Duties include greeting guests, checking guests in/out, answering questions about the area and ensure rooms are filled nightly. On a daily basis caretakers are also responsible for cleaning and light maintenance on the property.
We are seeking conscientious, responsible and personable teams who are self motivated, enjoy working independently, are trustworthy, honest, have an eye for detail and some mechanical aptitude. Must have references and a background check is required.
This is a great role for a retiree couple who still want to stay active and enjoy being social. We are only looking for a couple who can commit for long term.
Harrison is known as the town with 20 lakes in 20 miles and is a great place to live and work. Lots of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.
