Our newly founded business is searching for a Management Couple to run a Boutique Hotel on Hulhumale Island, located around 1km from the airport in Maldives.
This boutique hotel is at the beach side of the fast growing community of Hulhumale near the capital city of Male’ and we are currently recruiting for a Management couple to join the team.
We aim at being the welcoming hub of the island's town with its bustling and informal nature, yet at the same time extremely professional in providing some of the most exquisite food and service the country has to offer.
Ideally, the couple should consist of a Head Chef and a General Manager who would be overlooking the front office and the couple should have at least 1-year background experience, preferably working at minimum of 4-star hotel.
Requirements
We are looking for engaging people who enjoy looking after others. If you are humble and knowledgeable, wish to be part of a team of equally talented people and possess a desire to exceed all the guests' expectations to deliver a memorable dining experience/stay.
All the usual management requirements are expected including but not exclusive to:
· Dealing with owners and shareholders
· Full comprehension of P&L and budgets
· Budgets, ordering and costs
· Health and safety, training and HR compliance
· A depth of food and beverage knowledge
· Dealing with housekeeping
· Marketing and social media
Character
The couple should strive to exceed the customer's expectations in all areas. Aim to produce a menu that makes the most of the fantastic local produce the island has to offer - the seafood is on tap and is second to none. Not only they should be able to pride themselves only on the food but on the friendly and attentive service with discreet efficiency.
Remuneration
Salary: Negotiable
Full-time permanent (subject to a probationary period)
Holiday: Annual leave 30 days after completion of 12 months
Accommodation: Provided at the boutique hotel
Travel: Annual leave return tickets to point of hire
Bonus / Commission: Applicable and negotiable as per the company policy
