Hard-working, Reliable Self-motivated. (Can work independently, as well as with a team) In good health & energetic Trust-worthy, honest and dependable. Computer skills. Social Media, Blogging, Texting, Word/Excel/Publisher/Adobe/other software, app or phone for organization all welcomed & an advantage to candidate! Other skills that make you stand out from the crowd? We are searching for a unique couple who would love working with our 164-family apartment property (not as managers or maintenance team, even though we may need occasional assistance to those existing teams), but as our “Community Relations Couple”
Job Requirements: 1. Plan 1 awesome weekend activity for the apartment residents each month, including food, arts & crafts for children/parents to do together prior to event. We want someone who can ‘wow’ our residents, motivate them to attend our monthly activities, and help them love living in our apartment community even more. You’d be responsible for the event from planning, be present at the activity, & cleanup. (These would be family-friendly events, lasting 4-6 hours, such as “Walk in the Park” (beautifying our property by planting ‘wildflower bombs’ or spring vegetables in children’s raised-gardening beds), Dino-mite Night” (dinosaur crafts followed by children’s dinosaur movie in our community room), “Howl-a-ween” (October activity with dogs & owners on parade followed by family activities), “Chillin’ & Grillin” (Hot-dog cookout with homemade ice cream & pool play party). 2. Wife” 24 hrs. weekly (included in hours are: office help, weekend activity, welcome new residents & tutoring coordination/oversight). 3. Husband: 24 hours weekly. Might include landscaping, paint upkeep, simple maintenance issues, organize & bar-code supplies, maintain stock supply, etc. (Not on-call…we have maintenance team on-site) 4. Welcome each new resident to property. Help them feel welcome with a “We Care Welcome Package” & personal greeting the day they move-in. (Hours credited to your hours per week) 5. Obtain coupons from local businesses that offer free or discounted items to our residents. (Such as free pizza, discounted services, etc.) Our goal is to involve as many local businesses as possible to help our residents save money, while also providing free marketing to local businesses to help them grow their business by encouraging our residents to use these local businesses…for a win-win situation. 6. Set up twice a week ‘tutoring’ program for students with college education majors (@ local colleges), so college students gain hands-on experience while our residents’ children learn to excel in their studies. Marketing & 'sales" relationships. Examples might include: obtaining corporate ‘sponsors’ for activities, athletic teams, online groups that may offer services or products or volunteer services, universities (to help set up internships with college students and our company), or other creative ways you think of that would benefit our residents, our property and/or our community. Here’s where your creativity, sales & marketing skills come into play! Compensation: Apartment rent free. Newly remodeled. (Could also include furnished apartment for right couple) We will review job performance after 6 months & again at 12 months. Positive reviews could result in potential additional benefits, compensation or perks. Since our position is part-time, if you obtain other part-time job work, we can discuss that, if it didn’t interfere with the Community Relations Job requirements. Must want to live in San Antonio…which is a totally great place to live! We don’t care about your age, if you can complete needed job requirements. We’re not interested in anyone involved drugs, who has issues with alcohol or other addictive behaviors, is lazy, quick-tempered or unmotivated. We are looking for the right couple who’d like to work with our residents, believe that when you treat people with respect, you receive respect in return, who does not discriminate and treats others with kindness.
