WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Ministry is looking for mature house parent couples (married husband and wife), that identify with our core values and adopt our mission as their own. We are looking for high energy, responsible, flexible, nonjudgmental couples. We need a couple that is capable of utilizing a nurturing and loving approach to provide boundaries and structure with the children affected by trauma. The house parents play a key role in our holistic philosophy of care by using a professional, team-oriented, and trauma informed approach in the care of our children. This couples' calm and controlled demeanor is key for this job. Our challenge as a team is to minister to the "whole" child; spiritual, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional, and social. This is a full-time position that includes a modest salary, full room and board, and a vehicle to drive. You will be serving children affected by trauma that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or rejected. Together, you and your spouse can make a difference and change the life of a child. You will live on a rural farm with a close knit team of families working together to rebuild the lives of children who desperately need healing.
