FEATURED JOB OPENING: Luxury Private Island Resort Management Couple – Fiji

We are seeking an experienced Resort Management Couple to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and leadership of an established adults-only luxury private island resort in Fiji.

This is a genuine senior hospitality management role requiring two experienced operators who are comfortable being highly visible, hands-on leaders while maintaining the standards, discipline and commercial focus expected of a luxury international resort.

The resort comprises just 16 luxury villas and operates with a team of approximately 60 employees. With a maximum of only 32 guests at any time, the emphasis is firmly on highly personalised service, attention to detail and creating an exceptional guest experience.

The Role

Together, the Management Couple will be responsible for the overall operation of the resort, including:

• Leadership and development of the resort team
• Guest experience and service delivery
• Rooms division, housekeeping and front office
• Food & Beverage operations
• Financial performance, budgeting and cost control
• Revenue awareness and commercial performance
• Maintenance and asset management oversight
• Purchasing, stock control and operational planning
• Health, safety and operational compliance
• Maintaining and continually improving luxury service standards
• Working closely with ownership and senior management on resort performance and strategy

This is not a desk-based management position. Both managers must be comfortable being present throughout the operation, interacting with guests, supporting department heads, identifying issues before they become problems and leading by example.

Who We Are Looking For

We are particularly interested in couples with substantial experience in luxury resorts, boutique hotels, lodges or comparable high-end hospitality operations.

Ideally, between the two of you, you will bring complementary strengths across areas such as:

• General resort or hotel management
• Food & Beverage
• Rooms Division / Front Office
• Guest relations
• Financial and commercial management
• Staff leadership and development
• Maintenance and facilities oversight
• Previous experience living and working in a remote resort, island, lodge or similar environment would be highly regarded.

At least one member of the couple should have demonstrated senior operational leadership experience within a quality hospitality environment.
