Innkeeper Couple – Inn 32

Location: North Woodstock, New Hampshire
Type: Full-time, Year-Round

About Us

Inn 32 is a newly revitalized 25-room boutique riverfront motel in the heart of North Woodstock, New Hampshire — right off Exit 32 on I-93. We're steps from the Pemigewasset River, a 5-minute drive to Loon Mountain, and surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest. Franconia Notch, Cannon Mountain, and the Flume Gorge are all in your backyard.

We're seeking an enthusiastic couple to run day-to-day operations together — one of you handling guest services and front-of-house, the other keeping everything running smoothly on the maintenance side. This is a hands-on, live-where-you-work opportunity in one of New England's most iconic four-season destinations.

Walk to brewpubs after your shift. Ski Loon on your day off. Cool off in the pool you manage. Not a bad gig.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Partner A: Guest Services & Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests — friendly, responsive, problem-solving.
  • Manage reservations and guest communication through Mews (our property management system).
  • Oversee check-in/check-out processes and ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Handle up to 5 room cleans daily; coordinate with housekeeping staff for additional turnover.
  • Maintain strong guest relationships to drive reviews and repeat bookings.
  • Respond to online reviews and provide content for social media.

Partner B: Maintenance & Grounds

  • Keep the property in excellent condition — minor repairs, seasonal upkeep, vendor coordination.
  • Maintain pool area, BBQ/fire pit spaces, and riverfront grounds.
  • Coordinate with contractors for larger repairs and improvements.
  • Ensure all facilities and rooms are guest-ready and well-maintained.
  • Seasonal tasks: winterization, pool opening/closing, snow removal coordination.

Shared Responsibilities

  • Work together to create a welcoming atmosphere with thoughtful touches and seasonal charm.
  • Be available for guest emergencies and after-hours needs.
  • Track expenses, manage inventory, and communicate regularly with ownership.
  • Participate in the local community — North Woodstock is a tight-knit town with great local businesses.

What We Offer

  • Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience.
  • On-Site Housing: Private 500 sq. ft. living space with full kitchen — included.
  • Paid Time Off: 2 weeks vacation annually.
  • The Lifestyle: Loon Mountain is 5 minutes away. Cannon Mountain, 15. The river is literally out back. You'll live in the White Mountains, walk to dinner, and ski on your days off.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in hospitality, property management, or customer service.
  • One partner comfortable with guest relations and front-desk operations; one handy with maintenance and repairs.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine love of making guests feel at home.
  • Comfortable with technology and property management systems (Mews experience a plus, but we'll train).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays — this is hospitality, after all.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
  • Must live on-site.

Start Date: May 15th, 2026

Why North Woodstock?

This isn't a remote outpost — it's a charming mountain village with breweries, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. You're 5 minutes from Loon, 15 from Cannon, and surrounded by some of the best hiking, skiing, and leaf-peeping in the Northeast. Laconia Bike Week brings the crowds. Ice Castles light up winter. And the Pemi River flows right through town.

If you're a couple looking for a lifestyle change — trading the commute for the mountains, the cubicle for the front desk, and the apartment for a riverfront motel — we'd love to hear from you.
