HIRING NOW — My Father’s Arrows Ministry is looking for responsible Christian couples (according to Biblical standards and our Statement of Faith), that identify with our core values and adopt our mission as their own. We need couples capable of utilizing a nurturing and loving approach to provide boundaries and structure with children affected by trauma.
The house parents play a key role in our holistic philosophy of care by using a professional, team-oriented, and trauma informed approach in the care of our children. A calm and controlled demeanor is key for this job. Our challenge as a team is to minister to the "whole" child. The couple provides direct care for a small group of children (up to 12), age 0 to 17, to foster their character, spiritual, emotional growth, along with vocational skill sets.
Each couple has an apartment- 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and storage space on a rural farm with a close knit team of families working together to bring hurting children to healing. One individual in the couple with specialize as the Farm Director. This is a full-time position that includes a modest salary, full room and board, and a vehicle to drive.

We're looking for staff who feel God's call to parenting children with tough starts, and who love to contribute to making a great team. We are a distinctly faith-based organization who care for children from private placements who have been affected by trauma through abuse, neglect, abandonment, or rejection.
Requirements:
• must be over 21
• high school diploma or GED
• must pass background screening, drug testing
• must have a current driver’s license, and maintain an excellent driving record
• must be servant hearted
• must attend worship services with children
- must have good communication skills
- must be able to multi-task
- must have knowledge of trauma-informed care
The ideal candidate will have experience with farm equipment, animal husbandry, general maintenance, aquaponics, and carpentry. Candidates with no minor children preferred.
Benefits include: Paid time off including vacation and personal days, and weekly date nights, $1,000 longevity bonus at three years and $3,000 bonus at five years.
