FEATURED JOB OPENING: Innkeeper Couple Wanted - Galena, IL

Our Inn in Galena Illinois is looking for is looking for an aspiring couple to take control of operations.  

The ideal team will be responsible, flexible and hands-on in all aspects of the business including cooking for up to 16 guests, housekeeping, general maintenance and small repairs.    Good communication, exceptional customer service, and organizational skills required.  Responsibilities include managing guest experience from the reservation, check-in to check-out, food preparation, managing the housekeeping staff, and backing them up when required.   Other duties include some laundry, light repairs and maintenance as well as gardening during the summer months.   A Live-in Innkeepers' quarters provided as well as incentives.   

Galena is the third largest tourist destination in Illinois with over 1 million visitors annually.  The town is situated in the rolling hills along the Galena and Mississippi Rivers in Northwest Illinois.   It has a rich civil war history and one of the best Main Streets in America with over 100 shops and restaurants.
