Houseparents provide leadership of the homes they live in and oversee the daily activities of the youth. In addition, the houseparents oversee a team of 3-4 youth care workers. They are responsible for the maintaining of a cohesive family unit and maintaining communication with parents, workers and guardians. They identify spiritual needs, correct negative behavior, tutor, plan activities and events, counsel/advise and teach the students to work through daily problems that may come up in the course of a day.

  • Direct sales and marketing activity
  • Perform weekly property visits with follow up
  • Ensure that all rents are collected and handle delinquency accounts with Attorney
  • Hire, train and coach on site staff and complete performance evaluations
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • 3 years of related management experience in retail, hospitality or property management preferred
  • Clear understanding of the budgeting process and effective financial management and analysis
  • Knowledge of computer systems is a must. Proficiency in rent management-based software
  • It is expected and required all business practices are conducted in accordance with company policy and procedure.

The Park Store Associate is a critical role in the daily operation of our Park stores at visitor centers and contact stations throughout the Greater Yellowstone National Park Area. The associate represents “the face” of the organization by working on the front lines and often in partnership with naturalist rangers from the National Park Service. Associates assist and engage visitors with purchases of educational products, explain our supporter program and recruit new members, and help answer visitor questions about our park. Success in this position requires outstanding visitor/customer service skills and a passion for our Park and its preservation, and sharing that passion with others.  2 people in an RV much needed!
