Tufton Warren Farm is situated in the heart of the Hampshire countryside and is home to Clock Barn wedding venue. Due to increased wedding sales and ambitious growth plans they are currently recruiting a couple to join their small but expanding family run business on a full time, permanent basis.
This dual position is a live in opportunity and will involve a large amount of weekend working so a flexible approach is essential.
This role is crucial to the success of the wedding business at Clock Barn.
It is a hands on practical role and will involve early mornings as the successful candidates will be responsible for and fully involved in the cleaning and turning around of the wedding venue after each event which is often time critical and demanding.
Responsibilities will include;
- Overall responsibility for cleaning the venue the morning after each wedding and overseeing other cleaning staff.
- Overall responsibility for setting the venue up for the next wedding including moving banqueting furniture and other wedding day detail.
- Ensuring the external areas are set up and ready for weddings.
- Responsibility for traffic management on wedding days.
- Day to day maintenance of the venue including window cleaning, polishing, etc.
- Stock taking of all venue supplies and ensuring replacements have been ordered.
- Ensuring venue Health & Safety checks have been carried out.
- Ensuring venue office is cleaned.
Outside of the venue requirements the successful candidates will get involved in other areas of the business as follows;
Role 1 will include helping out with venue showrounds and other client facing events as well as general office admin. This will require someone who is friendly, approachable and take great pride in the venue.
Role 2 will include assisting in the general upkeep of the grounds including mowing, strimming, fencing and other maintenance jobs.

- Exceptional cleaning abilities and standards of venue upkeep.
- High attention to detail.
- Hardworking.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work to direction but also have an ability to use initiative.
- Personable and friendly approach.
- Happy to work flexible hours and weekends around weddings.
- Fluent in English.
Benefits
- Accommodation in a 2 bedroom cottage will be provided on site
- Working hours would 37.5 hours per week and would need to be flexible around weddings
- 31 days holidays per annum
