We are seeking a couple’s management team to run all aspects of an indoor climate controlled self-storage facility of medium size in Saint Paul, MN. Property has 550 + storage units. In addition to sales and service expertise, candidates must have great organizational skills, office/admin proficiency, and one member of the duo must have the ability to maintain the property and grounds, including but not limited to, repairs and maintenance, snow removal, keeping the facility clean, etc.
Benefits package includes salary of $50,000.00, PLUS occupancy of a resident apartment (2 bedroom/ 1 bath), garage, all utilities included. There is also a monthly bonus program based on rental activity, paid medical and dental, 3 weeks PTO.
Responsibilities:
Successful Management Teams achieve financial objectives by:
• Managing cash with precision and balancing receipts, conducting collection efforts, posting payments and processing daily bank deposits accurately and timely as well as maintaining accurate records.
• As a Manager you’ll oversee assistant managers at a sister location to maximize property performance. Showing and leasing self-storage spaces.
• You will handle customer inquiries (whether by telephone, in person or on line)
• You will have the opportunity to recommend and implement aggressive off-site marketing programs based on competitor information and your own great ideas.
• Our Managers consistently provide excellent customer service by welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Our customers are what make our business possible. You will get to build a dedicated customer base by providing great customer experiences and surpassing customer expectations.
• Successful Managers are required to perform at a high level with minimal supervision, but also are team oriented.
• As a manager you will manage the day to day operations of the business by utilizing industry specific software.
Qualifications:
• Successful Store Managers must have strong sales and customer service skills
• Candidates could have experience from various fields such as retail sales, restaurant, sales associate, and other customer focused sales roles
• Energetic, outgoing, customer-oriented personality with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Prior leadership roles and experience supervising others is preferred.
• A High School diploma /GED equivalent. College education a plus.
• Ability to perform light maintenance.
• Strong Computer Skills.
• Minimum two year Customer Service and/or Sales experience
• Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation

• This is a non-smoking facility. The facility office, grounds and apartment are non-smoking areas.

• Requirements of both team members:
• 1) Must have valid driver's licenses (No DUIs).
• 2) Must pass background check, medical, drug and DMV.
• 3) Must have computer knowledge and proficiency.
• 4) Must be physically able to perform all job responsibilities.
• 5) Must live on-site in apartment provided.
• This job is a full-time position for each team member; meaning each team member is to work 40-hours per week. The position includes a salary of $50,000.00 with a bonus opportunity. Additional compensation package includes the two-bedroom apartment and garage located on site. Paid utilities include: electric, water, sewer, and trash. All appliances are furnished.
