Purpose for the Position:
To act as the assistant to the Owner in managing the hotel’s operations, maintaining established revenue, cost and quality standards through constant performance to ensure success and profitability of the Inn implementing all necessary actions to (approved by the Owner) deliver four pillars
1. Revenue
2. Guest Satisfaction
3. Team satisfaction
4. Profitability through cost controls
Responsibilities include:
? Oversees overall day-to-day hotel operations as delegated by the Owner.
? Generates through proper supervision of assigned departments projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction.
? Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the hotel.
? Ensures that guest satisfaction is consistently obtained.
? Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the Housekeeping and Front Office Departments.
? Maintains Hotel standards in all Food and Beverage outlets.
? Ensures security for the hotel’s assets.
? Remains current on business trends and local activities.
? Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements.
? Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement.
? Ensures proper handling of guest complaints.
? Manage Expedia, Booking.com, Trip Advisor guest’s comments on weekly basis.
? Assists in the development of new programs which result in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
? Maintains compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations in Owner’s absence.
? Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
This job involves:
? Teaching, mentoring, and directing hotel staff.
? Close working relationship with all department heads.
? Demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm at all times.
? Being comfortable with the high level of visibility and the leadership role within the hotel and
community.

depth perception and the ability to focus. Lift, carry, push or pull up to 20 pounds frequently
and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
? Ability to see, hear, speak, read, write and understand English.
