Your compensation is negotiable based on experience and work you are interested in performing. Housing is available onsite and would include a 3 bedroom 2-story apartment with two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and two balconies. The furnishings that are available would include items such as a bedroom set and dressers, couches and coffee tables, tv in the living room, refrigerator and stove, microwave in the kitchen. Utilities are included along with wifi and cable TV, washer and dryer.
While we are onsite at least 5 days/week, we would need help with daily morning and evening front desk management of the motel including answering the phone, taking reservations, checking guests in and out, taking care of guest needs, etc. Our lobby is closed from 9pm to 7am so you would need to be available for after hours guest and/or motel urgent needs as they arise such as a guest locked out of room or motel matters such as power outages. In the mornings, in addition to front desk duties, we would need you to open up at 7am and manage the continental breakfast, clean lobby and back office area and restock. In the evenings, we would want the front desk to be managed until close at 9pm. Hours are flexible and would include time off for both you and us.
Outside of the management resposibilities, we would need help for and would pay an hourly wage for hours worked primarily doing housekeeping but could also be maintenance and/or landscaping work as directed or other tasks that you may be qualified to perform such as marketing, computer IT, etc. and can range from 40 hours in the summer to 20 or less hours in the slow season for each person.
This position is a yearly position and we would require a commitment through the summer high season through the months of May to September.
