WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are Looking For Park Hosts For Several Campgrounds In Alaska $$
Ninilchik and Clam Gulch are located on Alaska’s beautiful Kenai Peninsula, which is nick named “Alaska’s Playground” for a good reason. Our campgrounds offer access to Cook Inlet beaches and amazing views of volcanoes across the Inlet. They are also popular areas for salmon and trout fishing in the streams, halibut fishing in the Inlet, and wildlife viewing. Park hosts must be courteous, customer oriented, friendly and able to get along with many different personalities. A park host will be expected to spend most of their time outdoors performing a variety of tasks including; greeting visitors and providing public information, cleaning latrines, picking up litter, and lawn maintenance.Park hosts live in their campground of responsibility and must have a self-contained recreational vehicle. Some of our campgrounds offer no additional amenities apart from latrines and hand water pumps. A generator if often available, but not guaranteed in these parks. Some of the campgrounds offer water and electric at the park host site. All hosts have access to an offsite shower and laundry facility in Ninilchik, as well as trash services and an RV dump site. These are volunteer positions which offer a $400 stipend per couple or individual. Additionally, we are recruiting a maintenance volunteer, which would be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks such as land scaping, painting, and minor repairs to picnic tables and signs.
