JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for positive, faith-based happily married couples who have been married for at least 5 years and are passionate for helping at-risk children. As Houseparents you will work as a team to provide direct care for 6-8 at-risk boys, ages 6 to 17, by creating and maintaining a safe and loving family environment.

OVERVIEW OF MOST IMMEDIATE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide love and structure for 6-8 at-risk boys
• Plan fun activities with the boys, board games, camping, fishing, workouts, etc.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks; grocery buying
• Transport to and attend boys' appointments
• Administer and document medications
• Maintain a very clean, pleasant, and positive atmosphere in the home
• Attend required training
• Participate with the children in church
• Plan and implement incentive programs for grades and chores for the boys

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• Non-Smoking
• Must be a faith-based couple in a stable marriage of at least five years with no more than 1 school aged dependent (Marriage license required)
• Must both have a valid AZ driver's license or be able to obtain one
• Must pass a Criminal History background check
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must have at least 3 years of at-risk youth care experience

BENEFITS:

• We offer a competitive base salary of $40,000 to $50,000 per year depending on experience.
• We offer living expenses and a company vehicle,
• We offer a $2000 bonus after the first year of service and an additional $3000 after the second year of service.
