Job Title: Guest Relations - Assistant to the Manager - This could be an individual or a couple sharing responsibilities
What we do: Short term rentals. Two houses + event barn + amphitheater. We do workshops/retreats, family reunions, weddings.
Work/Live on site: It is a beautiful place to live set on 40 acres with oaks and meadows. You will have a single wide travel trailer in a beautiful setting with a great deck overlooking the oaks. It is furnished. Pay is minimum wage + living space + Wi-Fi + utilities.
Start date is flexible.
Guaranteed 10 hours per week, could be more during our high season up to 30 hours/week; you may want another source of income.
Job description:

Site visits: Show houses & venue areas; answer questions for potential guests

Walkthroughs: After cleaners have cleaned, walk through the house to make sure clean is up to
standards and all guest supplies are in place

Guest Arrival: Greet guests on arrival & walk them through the house

On Call: When guests are on the property, carry phone and respond to questions, get them
what they need or get in touch with the person who can help them

Guest Departure: Gently make sure they are on track to leave at designated time/say good bye
and thank you

When Guest Departs: Lock up house; lights, fans, heaters, etc. are off

Minor repairs: unplug toilets and slow draining sinks, change light bulbs etc. while guests are on
site as well as when guests are off site

Work with cleaning crew: no cleaning involved - restocking cleaning supplies if needed, liaison
for any additional information they may need for clean, take pictures if damages are done, etc.

Back up facilities manager when needed: monitor water, linens, and vendors

Looking for someone who likes working with guests (likes people!), is detailed oriented, experienced in property management and guest relations a plus, can do basic house repairs, thinks outside of the box, articulate and welcoming with guests, represents us in a professional manner, a team player who will see and do what needs to be done to insure a great guest experience. No drama please.
