Resort Managerial/Maintenance Position

Seasonal Central Colorado mountain fishing resort with 26 rental units is seeking a hardworking, energentic couple to provide onsite management of day-to-day operations. Applicants must be able to work/live in high altitude environment that requires climbing and desending stairs.

Guest management duties include, but not limited to, taking reservations, daily bookkeeping and data entry in reservation system, guest check-in and check-out, oversee sales and inventory management of small gift/tackle shop. Daily scheduling of housekeeping and assisting with laundry duties.

Maintenance/handyman duties require light carpentry and plumbing work. Ability to perform grounds maintenance, small repair projects and painting required.

This is a full time, on-site position from mid-April to mid-October that often requires more than forty hours per week. An on-site one bendroom one bathroom furnished apartment with satellite TV and Wi-Fi is provided from mid-April (opening) thru mid-October (closing). The resort is open to guests from mid-may thru September 30th. Off season duties include manageing the reservations system for a few hours per week. Housing is not provided during the off season.

The resort is located at an elevation of 9362' surrounded by National Forest with an abundance of native wildlife that includes deer, elk, moose, bear and mountain lion. To insure that all our guests can enjoy the native wildlife we do not allow pets on the resort property.
