WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
Chugach National Forest campground hosts needed for the summer of 2018! Mid May thru mid September Various campgrounds available along the Kenai Pennisula, must have own RV (no tents) campsite provided and pay varies depending on the Campground $1900-$400
Our fantastic Campground Hosts work in the campground assisting with the reservation system, selling camping permits and providing customer service to our visitors. You also serve as eyes and ears for USFS personnel in their assigned campground.
The satisfaction of helping both the National Forest and its visitors is the Campground Host’s greatest reward. By their presence, Hosts minimize vandalism thereby saving the taxpayer many dollars in upkeep and property damage. There is no substitute for the personal touch that makes a camper feel welcome and, “at home.” Who else can inform a visitor when and where the fish bite best?
