WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are a residential education facility that provides on-site housing in addition to elementary through high school education to boys and girls. Our blended education model allows for a project based learning method integrated with an online learning tool. We create whole persons to be formed that leave high school with practical skills to enter the workforce with the necessary qualifications and experience to be successful.
Dorm Directors/Houseparents Summary:
We are seeking a ministry-minded individual or couple that is interested in living on our New Providence, Iowa campus to serve as the Dorm Director/Houseparents of either of the boy or girl cottages. We function much like professional resident hall advisers in a dorm for children ages 8-17. The Dorm Director establishes a Christian environment, role models healthy interpersonal relationships, care taker styles, and teaches responsible behavior and decision making. The director functions as part of a team to implement the programmatic values and components with a primary goal of teaching the youth skills and developing assets to become well-balanced, well-educated, responsible adults who have positive morals, values and demonstrate leadership potential.
Dorm Directors/Houseparents live on-campus with the students and are provided with house groceries and cafeteria meals. Also included are weekly hours off (during school hours), 4 paid days off per month, vacation time, sick time and an insurance benefits package.
