We are a Non-Profit Camp for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities filling positions for
Janitorial, Groundskeeping. Up to two couples or 4 individuals in Williams arizona
We are in immediate need of Janitorial/Groundskeeper/light maintenance (painting) helpers for our 2021 season, in Williams Arizona. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Required (for Level 1 DES-DDD/HCBS-Home & Community Based Services, $75 fee (will be reimbursed if clear), May 1st through August 30th.
The Camp is located just a few minutes north of the tourist town of Williams Az, Home of the Grand Canyon Railway, the number one tourist destination for the Grand Canyon. The camp is located on 15 acres and provides camping experiences for our clients by providing programs throughout the summer. We typically have 50 to 70 clients with a 1 to 1 staff ratio, 100 to 150 in camp at a time. Campers arrive on Monday and depart the following Monday.
Compensation: RV sites with Water and Electric included, (waste water coming but may not be available this summer, dump station close,, shower house available close to RV sites), meals and weekly stipend available, negotiable up to $650.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Janitorial/house keeping
- Grounds (no formal landscaping, just weed control, flower pot/beds, trash pickup)
Our clients will make you want to come back year after year! Our location is also perfect for those who love the outdoors to hike, mountain bike, and to live in a beautiful area at 6500’ elevation, surrounded by thousands of acres of land and wildlife. Candidates may arrive in April and stay through September so that they may explore Williams, Northern Arizona and the Grand Canyon.
Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of experience with 2+ years tenure in a current or previous position is preferred. Team members will be expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for the entire summer program schedule.
Couples can have the same days off. Camper hours are typically between 7am and 8pm, 7 days a week, but may vary as needed. Team members will be working a shift during these hours.
