2br - Trade work for rent for Basement bedrooms/apartment in the country (2 hours North of Spokane, WA) We are looking for renter(s)/maintenance worker(s) who would like to trade labor for all of the rent and utilities for our BASEMENT apartment/bedrooms. Couples may apply. We have two basement bedrooms available at this time. The rooms are clean and freshly painted basement bedrooms with a separate entrance to parking and separate kitchen, living room, bathroom and laundry for your shared use. (We also use the basement occasionally). The images I posted of the interior are all of the basement bedrooms and common spaces. The basement rooms Includes utilities; electricity, propane, water/sewer & reasonable WI-Fi use. We have wood heat with electric back-up. You would need to keep the wood stove stoked in the winter. Dish TV is available for free. There is limited cell-phone reception here but you can buy a booster. Bedroom is furnished if necessary. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this secluded 212 acre wooded estate with year round creek, miles of private trails to hike/ride. Off property hunting & fishing. We have two horses, chickens, and a dog. You use your own exterior entrance with plenty of parking for your vehicle and an rv. The tenant(s)/worker(s) I'm looking for need to have mechanic skills & firewood cutting experience, as well as possible home/farm maintenance work. Only those seeking long term situations need apply. Couples may also apply. We are easy going congenial people but we do expect the work done in a professional, safe and courteous manner. I ask for work in trade for the monthly rent and you MUST do the work each week to be able to stay here. Hours are negotiable but we need approximatly10 hours each week for each bedroom. Available immediately. The property is 2 hours north of Spokane WA and approx. 35 minutes from Colville. We live in snow country and have snow on the ground 5 months of the year. Commuting to and from work can be a challenge but is possible. (We are 2 hours north of Spokane and 35 minutes from Colville). Finding employment can be very difficult around here and it would help if you had a separate income to support yourself. I will ask for personal references and you MUST pass a criminal background check, (NO credit check necessary). You do need to be clean & without nasty habits. No smoking, no pot, NO Druggies, no heavy drinking, no loud entertaining. Sorry, no pets please. You will need a $100 refundable cleaning/security deposit before you move in.
