Hello to all who read about us. We currently are living in Corona, California. We are a couple of 19+ yrs.; our family consists of my husband, Joseph, D.O.B. 10-30-1957, and myself, Melinda, D.O.B. 11-19-1963 and our cat, Stinka. As a middle-aged, energetic, enthusiastic, hard-working couple, we are searching for the perfect property or facility to manage that will suit our outgoing, dedicated personalities and that will benefit from outstanding service to the clients of a prospective employer, such as your company.
Individually we consist of an assortment of qualifications, but together we offer you a greatly talented team. We are eager to see and do all that we can, which provides you with a couple that is available to relocate as soon as you may need us to start for you.
Currently Joseph is a self-employed Independent Consultant in the Architectural services business. Having over 18 years experience in the construction of new and remodeled buildings, and his strong ability to interact with people on all levels whether it be personal or professional. Besides providing Architectural services, Joseph has had experience in building maintenance; he has also worked security in the Silicon Valley, and is well versed in computer repair and has strong knowledge of computer usage. Joseph is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army, with a combined service of 11 years. He is also, Bi-lingual in spanish. I would personally like to see him in a job with a company who could appreciate his character and work ethics. Joseph is very detail oriented and precise in all that he does. He prides himself in the constant upkeep of our home, inside as well as outside. Customer satisfaction is a consistent expectation he has for himself.
Currently I am working as a Executive Assistant/Secretary part-time for a Criminal Attorney. I am very detailed oriented, and I pride myself in meeting deadlines and schedules. I have experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, as well as experience with QuickBooks for A/P, A/R, Payroll, Invoicing and HR applications. My position deals with legal filings with Superior, Municipal and Juvenile courts. My dealings with our clients gives me a lot of customer service experience with all types of people. My past positions have given me experience in assistant managing at a toy store in Laguna Beach, housekeeping at a timeshare resort in Kauai, waiting tables in restaurants, administrative assistance, safety coordinating, purchasing and office managing to name a few. I enjoy gardening, cooking and cleaning (I know…people think I am crazy for liking to clean, but it is true). I have also just completed my Hotel/Restaurant Management Course at Penn Foster Career School.
Reason for leaving current jobs: Main reason would be we would like to work together. Hopefully live on premises or really near by. Additionally, we only work part-time and we would like to work full-time. Also, we want to spend more time at home and less time commuting in traffic. We both feel that this would be our ideal jobs.
Together we are a great team and we work extremely well together. Our desire to work together in a career is great and we are looking for an opportunity to do so. I believe we would be a great asset to the property as well. As an active family who enjoys the outdoors, we love spending time together as a family.
