Live in one of our agency-owned homes as you and the person who applies with you care directly for our clients. You'll earn between $75,000 and $80,000 per couple annually. Training, supervision and on-call support is all provided. We also provide financial support for respite weekends away. This opening CANNOT accommodate couples wishing to bring their own children to live with them in our homes. Both members of the team (partner/spouse) must complete individual applications.

We are seeking a Family Teaching Couple in Kissimmee, Fl. The Teaching Couple is a married couple that provides warm and caring professional parenting interactions for 4 youth ages 15-21 that in in foster care. The Teaching Couple will live on-site at the group home. Interactions and responses to youth are informed by knowledge of the complex issues faced by youth in foster care and by an understanding that youth need to be equipped to resolve their family issues and to prepare themselves for future success.

Maintain a cottage atmosphere of organization and planning in managing daily activities
Provide an example of and teach residents basic skills such as room organization, cleaning, work-ethic, punctuality, recreational activities, manners, cooking, laundry and clothing care, time management, communication skills, relationship building, conflict resolution, financial management, etc.

We offer a base salary of $32,800.00 per couple. Sunshine Acres will provide paid housing, and utilities for all residential Houseparents. Additionally, we offer a total employee benefit package that includes a ZERO premium for Medical ($500 deductible), Dental and Vision, Life, and up to a 30% contribution to the profit sharing plan.
