Make a daily difference! Together with their spouses, Houseparents are live-in caregivers, role models and mentors for the students entrusted in their care. Houseparents nurture a structured, yet family-like atmosphere in a School home for 8 to 12 students from lower income. They foster quality interactions with students to help them grow and fulfill their potential.
Houseparents oversee the basics of the students’ daily lives: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual care, as well as provide ongoing guidance and mentoring. They also collaborate with teachers, administrators and families to facilitate student success.
These are salaried positions with benefits. Housing, paid training and relocation assistance are provided.

The Florida Keys Children's Shelter has an opening in Key West. We are seeking couples that currently do not have children of their own at home and are dedicated to helping youth. House Parents are responsible for the day to day activities of up to 7 children.

IMMEDIATE OPENING for Methodist Children's Home - Full-time parents work 7 days on and 7 days off under the supervision of the Unit Manager and Campus Administrator. They are responsible for the daily supervision of the youth in the home unit.

Teaching Parent Couple
O’Connell Youth Ranch is in need of a Live-In Married Teaching Parent Couple. A teaching parent couple will teach social and life skills to 6-8 emotionally/behaviorally challenged youth between the ages of 12-18 in a community based group home setting.
