Our children's home in Piedmont North Carolina, has openings for mission-minded married couples or indivuals, without dependent children, for its live-in Youth Support Professional (direct care) positions. Applicants must be over 21 with a high school diploma/GED or higher degree. In our program of care for children and youth who are placed in our care as victims of abuse and neglect, we use a professional, team-oriented, trauma-informed approach to provide a safe, healing, stable, homelike environment for our youth. Our child care staff are a key part of our holistic philosophy of care in promoting youths' positive spiritual, social, educational,emotional, and physical development.

Position Title: Residential Direct Care Staff
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Northeast Florida.
We are currently seeking residential direct care staff to provide care to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Residential direct care staff help individuals engage in their communities, assist with development of social relationships, provide support with activities of daily living and personal care skills. Residential direct care staff teach, guide and offer support as needed in all other aspects of daily living, such as shopping, doing laundry, cooking and planning menus. While on duty, staff must stay overnight in the home. Comfortable, private sleeping quarters and bathroom are provided. Benefits include health insurance and vacation time, as well as meals and vehicle use while on duty.*
