We are looking for a responsible, organized, and caring individual or couple. We have been in business for over 12 years and recently opened an Independent Senior Living Apartment Complex. This is a 24 room, 3 floor with elevator building. We are currently hiring for a couple, (roommates) or responsible single adult to move in to the home to provide building management and oversight over the residents.
We provide a brand new 2 bedroom apartment, complete with fridge, and dishwasher. We provide cable, all utilities, internet, laundry facility, and all dinner meals. We also offer a competitive salary based on the occupancy of the building, up to 29,000 a year for just salary compensation ($100 per month per resident). This is a great job for a couple who maybe retired, or a younger couple where 1 spouse works full time and the other resides at the complex, but has the support and assistance of the spouse if needed. The apartment value is $1200-1400 per month based on market rates. Utilities and other added values plus rent is equal to $20,000 - $25,000 value or saving to the couple per year.
The manager is responsible for;
Showing the apartments, explaining contracts, collecting deposits, rents, and other fees, new move in check list, and move out check lists.
Cooking and serving dinner daily, plan menu, and shop for groceries.
Keep Common areas clean and tidy.
Arrange activities for residents to do at the facility.
Transport Residents to MD office, grocery store, and other places per their contract.
Cleaning rooms upon the resident leaving the home, to prepare for another resident.
Handle residents complaints or issues. Forward maintenance issues to appropriate people.
Arrange Volunteers to visit and do activities with the residents.
Keep family members, and nursing staff of the resident informed at all times.
Manage CNA, Housekeeping, Cooking and Landscaping Staff (with be hired once occupancy reaches a greater level).
Orientate Family of new resident paperwork, and collect monthly rents. Invoicing, and record keeping needed.
Deliver receipts and monies to main office monthly.
Check on residents regularly, respond to call button night or day.
