Seeking Mobile Home Park Management Team for 150 space mobile home park in Birmingham, AL.
This is a long-term, permanent position.
The Management portion is part time and consists of:
- Inspecting the park on a daily basis
- Collecting past due rent, as needed
- Assisting in the processing of evictions
- Enforcing rules and regulations
- Solving problems as they arise
- Assist with marketing efforts (posting on craigslist, etc)
- Working with outside contractors and vendors (repairmen, utility companies, etc)
- Answering phone calls from existing and prospective tenants
The Maintenance portion consists of picking up garbage, small limbs, etc. and making sure the park looks clean daily. Additional opportunities for compensation available for completing plumbing repairs or lawn maintenance in the park.
The Mobile Home Park Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the mobile home park. The Mobile Home Park Manager oversees and enhances the value of the property. Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and strong in resident relations. Candidates must be dependable and lead by example.
Candidates must have good communication skills. Position requires basic computer skills, ability to email, and ability to text photographs. Ability to speak Spanish a plus, but not required.
Compensation includes free lot rent for mobile home or RV lot, salary, plus possibility for bonus. Mobile Home Park Manager must be willing to live on-site. An existing part-time job or supplemental income is acceptable as long as it doesn't interfere park responsibilities.
