Experienced couple or single person sought for a Resident Manager position for a beautiful 100+ Strata building in West Vancouver.
This is a live in position in a adult building. At least 3 year’s experience in a similar position is essential along with basic maintenance skills. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm unless there is a building emergency. The Resident Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the building including administrative tasks, coordination and scheduling/supervising of trades and other service providers, record keeping and planning.
The Janitorial services are currently contracted out, so the position requires only basic janitorial service and some maintenance services. However, in considering a manager couple, janitorial services would be sought as part of the couple hiring.
Skills required:
- excellent command of English language and strong communication skills
- strong people skills; willingness to work as part of a team
- ability to work independently with little supervision
- good knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and the Strata Property Act
- exceptional organizational skills
- strong maintenance skills
- computer skills
-pool operating experience
The position comes with a one bedroom unit with a rent reduction to $800.00 per month. Salary is above average and depends on whether it is for a single person or couple
